What are the available payment methods?

For your convenience, Westnet debits payments automatically from your nominated bank account or credit card. You can update your payment details at any time in MyAccount.

Is Westnet Mobile a prepaid service or post-paid service?

Westnet Mobile is a prepaid service. Your monthly mobile plan fee is renewed automatically using your nominated payment details.

Checking your mobile usage in MyAccount

  1. Log in to MyAccount.
  2. Select Mobile Usage.
  3. Your mobile data usage for the current billing cycle will be shown by default. You can use the Date range drop-down to view usage for a previous billing cycle.

Westnet supplied modems

Please note: The included Netphone/NBN Phone (VoIP) service and any included calls will NOT be available if you choose to use a modem that is not supplied by us.

Mobile Voice Features

Please note that Premium SMS/MMS services are not available on Westnet Mobile Voice services on the Vodafone network. International Roaming is not yet available for these services.

Mobile Voice Quick Codes (Vodafone network)

All you need to do is dial the codes on your mobile handset (as if you were making a call) and then press the “OK”, “Send” or “Yes” key. Most codes will trigger a confirmation message once accepted.

Changing your mobile plan in MyAccount

Please note

  • Your plan change will occur at the beginning of your next billing period.
  • If you submit a plan change when your next billing period begins in less than 7 days, your plan change will occur at the beginning of your following billing period.
  • If you submit multiple plan change requests before your current request is complete, you may override your previous request.

 

Unable to access a single website

  1. Website servers can undergo maintenance or suffer outages just like internet connections. Check the website on Down For Everyone or Just Me. If it's down for everyone, you'll need to wait for the site to start responding.

Set up Naked DSL

First, ensure you have:

  • A message from us advising you to plug in your modem.
  • An electrical outlet near your telephone wall socket.
