Wi-Fi Setup - Android

To set up Wi-Fi and connect to your wireless network on your Android device, you will need to launch the 'Settings' app. The process in locating the Settings app can be slightly different depending on the OS Version your device is running and whether or not the 'Email' app has been saved or moved to the device's homescreen. In either case, the below two methods can be used, regardless of the OS version to locate and launch the 'Settings' app.

  1. Use the Google search bar to launch the Settings app by typing 'Settings' into the bar and then tapping the Settings app icon.
  2. Open the 'Apps' screen by tapping the App Grid Icon in the bottom right corner of the homescreen (or top right for the Galaxy Tab) and then tapping the Settings App Icon.
  1. Tap the Settings App Icon.
  2. Tap On 'Wi-Fi' from the sidebar.
  3. Tap the Wireless Network you wish to join.
  4. If the network is secure, enter the password and tap 'Connect'
