Putting Westnet Modems into Safe Mode

G.DMT ("safe mode") applies to ADSL2+ or Naked DSL services only. Alternatively, on-net customers may toggle their Connection Profile to Safe Mode in MyAccount.

What is safe mode?

G.DMT mode has a maximum speed limit of 8Mbps but it also provides the most stability, making it useful if your connection is suffering dropouts.

If your modem was not purchased from Westnet, please check the manufacturer's website for support information.
