If you prefer to have the names of your family, friends, work colleagues and other people that you have called displayed on your Westnet Phone invoice rather than just their phone numbers, the Address Book feature for Westnet Phone which can be configured in the MyAccount service allows you to do just that.
By assigning a phone number (or numbers) with a contact in the Address Book, our Billing system will detect this number when you call it and accordingly display the contact's name on your next Westnet Phone invoice rather than their phone number. So this way you can easily keep track of who you have called and when!
Plus, you may also create Groups (such as "Family", "Friends", "Work Colleagues", etc) and associate various contacts with their relevant groups to keep your contacts better organised.
Please follow the instructions below to manage your contacts and groups.

To create a new Contact
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click on the Create button and fill in your contact's details such as their Name, Home Phone, Work Phone, Mobile and Fax numbers as applicable.
4. If you wish for this contact to be associated with a particular group you may assign a group (if already created) from the Group drop-down menu (more information on groups is available below).
5. When you have finished creating your contact, click Submit. Your new contact will now be displayed in your Address Book with their relevant telephone number/s and group assignment (if any).
To edit a Contact's details
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click the Edit link beside the contact you wish to change.
4. Edit the contact's details as desired. You may change the name, contact number/s and assign or un-assign Groups (more information on groups is available below).
5. Click Submit. The contact will now reflect the changes you made.
To delete a Contact from your Address Book
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Select the contact you wish delete by ticking the checkbox beside the contact's name.
4. Confirm the contact you wish to delete is selected. Click Delete. The contact is deleted from your Address Book.
Please note: Deleted contacts are not recoverable.
To create a new Group
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click on the Create button as you would do to create a new contact.
4. Click on the Create/Edit Groups link beside the Group drop-down menu.
5. From the expanded section under Create a Group, type the name of your Group in the Name field (for example: "Family", "Friends", etc)
6. Click the Submit Button. The new Group will now be available from the Group drop-down menu for when you next create or edit a contact.
To add a Contact to a Group
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click the Edit link beside the contact you wish to add to a group.
4. Assign a group to this contact by selecting the desired group from the Group drop-down menu.
5. Click Submit. Your contact is displayed in the address book with the selected group assigned to it.
To edit the name of a Group
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click on the Create button as you would do to create a new contact.
4. Click on the Create/Edit Groups link beside the Group drop-down menu.
5. From under the Edit/Delete Group section, select the group you wish to edit from the Groups field box by clicking on it.
6. Change the name of the selected group in the Group Name text field as desired and click Change. The group will now reflect the change you requested.
To remove a Contact from a Group
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click the Edit link beside the contact you wish to remove from a group.
4. Remove the group assigned to this contact by selecting Select a group from the Group drop-down menu.
5. Click Submit. Your contact is displayed in the address book with no Group assigned to it.
To delete a Group
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
3. Click on the Create button as you would do to create a new contact.
4. Click on the Create/Edit Groups link beside the Group drop-down menu.
5. From under the Edit/Delete Group section, select the group you wish to delete from the Groups field box by clicking on it.
6. Confirm the group you wish to delete is selected. Click on Delete. The selected group is deleted.
Please note: Deleted groups are not recoverable however any contacts that were associated with the deleted group will remain intact in your Address Book.
Sorting Contacts and Groups
If you have multiple contacts and groups present in your Address Book, you can easily sort them by contact name or group name. In this way you can organise your contacts quickly and easily either by their name or by the group they belong to (if present).
1. Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
2. In the Phone section, click the Contacts link.
a) Click on the Name link above the first contact listed in the Address Book to alternatively sort your contacts in ascending or descending order by their names.
b) Click on the Group link above the first group listed in the Address Book to alternatively sort your groups (if present) in ascending or descending order.
