How to add a Westnet email address
Broadband customers may have up to 9 additional Westnet mailboxes at no extra cost (NBN™ services may allow up to 19 additional mailboxes). Beyond that, additional mailboxes may be purchased for an annual fee of $25 - just call our friendly Sales Team on 13 19 60.
- Log in to MyAccount and select My Products from the navigation bar. If you're on a mobile device and you don't see this option, click the grey square with three lines to show the navigation menu.
- Select Email and then select Add/remove a mailbox from the Actions menu. If you're on a mobile device and you don't see the Actions menu, tap the grey bar labelled Email actions to show it.

- You’ll see a list of your current mailboxes. To add a new mailbox, click Add Mailbox at the bottom of the page.

- This will bring up a form. You’ll need to scroll down the page and fill in the following:
Service: Select the internet service the email address will be attached to
Full name: The name of the person who will be using the email address
Email address: Your desired email address (do not include the “@westnet.com.au”)
Password: Enter a password that fits our password policy
Confirm password: Enter your password again
- Once you’re done, click Create Mailbox to finish. It may take up to 2 hours before your email address can start sending and receiving email.
- We recommend that you send a test email to your new email address using a different email account, or ask a friend to email you. Once you receive this test email, you know your mailbox is up and running.
How to remove an existing Westnet email address
Be sure to back up any important emails before deleting a mailbox as they cannot be recovered.
- You can’t delete the mailbox that is associated with your broadband or mobile service. However, you may delete additional mailboxes.
- Log in to MyAccount and select My Products from the navigation bar. If you're on a mobile device and you don't see this option, click the grey square with three lines to show the navigation menu.
- Select Email and then select Add/remove a mailbox from the Actions menu. If you're on a mobile device and you don't see the Actions menu, click the grey bar labelled Email actions to show it.
- You’ll see a list of your current mailboxes. To remove an existing mailbox, click Remove.

- Enter the password for the mailbox, and then click Remove Email.

- The mailbox will stop working almost immediately, however it may take a few hours to disappear from MyAccount.

- Log in to MyAccount and select Manage Email, then Add Mailbox.

- Fill out the required fields for your Full name, Email address, Password and Confirm Password, then select Create Mailbox.

- You’ll return to a list of your current mailboxes. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours before your email address can start sending and receiving email - your mailbox will not display in MyAccount until then.
- We recommend that you send a test email to your new email address using a different email account, or ask a friend to email you. Once you receive this test email, you know your mailbox is up and running.
