Please find below the instructions on how to change your internet plan depending on your account type.
Please note: Plan changes take effect on the first day of the month that you select. If your account is paid quarterly, half-yearly or yearly in advance, it is recommended that you request your plan change to take effect on the 1st day of the month when your account is set to renew.
Broadband Internet Accounts
If you have a Broadband1 or Broadband2+ internet account, please follow these steps to change your plan:
- Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
- In the Account section, click the Change Plan link.
- Follow the instructions provided on screen.
A confirmation message will appear once your request has been submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email to the correspondence email address on your Westnet account.
 | Important: Should you request to change your Broadband1 internet account plan and a change of line speed is required (e.g. changing from a 256kbps/64kbps plan to a 512kbps/128kbps plan), a $19.95 fee will apply. |
If you wish to upgrade an existing Broadband1 internet account to Broadband2+, please contact Westnet Sales on 13 19 60. Connection fees may apply.
^ Requires an active full phone service with Westnet, on the same internet account, to be eligible for bundling.
Dialup Accounts
If you have a Dialup account, please follow these steps to change your plan:
- Log into the MyAccount service with your Westnet username and password.
- In the Account section, click the Change Plan link.
- Follow the instructions provided on screen.
A confirmation message will appear once your request has been submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email to the correspondence email address on your Westnet account.
