The choice between Windows and Linux will usually be dictated by the scripting language your web developer is using if they are intending to use one. The actual operating system you are running on your PC doesn't need to match the platform we use on our web servers so Windows users are more than welcome to select the Linux platform for running PHP applications made for Linux hosts.
The following features are available on each of the platforms for our new hosting plaform:

- Frontpage Extensions (Only Frontpage 2002 and below are supported)
Linux
- PHP 4
- PHP 5*
- Perl CGI
- Python CGI*
- SSI
- SiteBuilder*
*Please note PHP 5, Python and Sitebuilder are not available on our legacy platform.
