Fraudsters have recently been targeting Westnet customers, requesting password information via email.

Any email you receive from Westnet will never ask for your password.

If you receive an email requesting this information, we recommend you ignore it and delete it immediately.

If you ever mistakenly respond to an email whose origins you are unsure of, and provide your Westnet account information, please contact our Technical Support Team 1300 786 068 as soon as possible. We will help you change your password and health-check your account for you.

You can help us fight phishing by forwarding copies of Westnet phishing emails you receive to online.abuse@westnet.com.au. We will not normally reply to you directly but we will use the information you send to stop the email from reaching more customers.

Further information on this topic can also be found by visiting the MyHelp article on Phishing.
