Occasionally you will receive multiple emails from a particular email address that you do not wish to receive. These types of emails are referred to as Junk emails. Webmail allows you to set these emails as Junk which will move any emails with this criteria to the Junk folder.
There are four ways you can mark an email as Junk when you are using Webmail Plus.
Method 1
Select the email from the Inbox list.
Click Junk.
Method 2
Tick one or more of the boxes located to the left of the email in the list.
Click on the Junk option.
Method 3
Right click on the email.
Click on the Junk icon that should appear in the pop-up menu.
Method 4
Open the email by double clicking on it.
Click Junk in the tool-bar.
This will instantly remove the email from the Inbox, and place it in the Junk folder on the left.
Clearing the Junk Folder
There are three ways that you can remove junk emails from the Junk folder (they will be moved to the deleted folder).
Method 1
Right click on the Junk folder on the left hand side.
Select Empty Junk.
Method 2
Open the Junk folder.
Click on the message you would like to get rid of.
Click Delete.
Method 3
Open the Junk folder.
Right click on the message you would like to get rid of.
Click Delete.
This will send the selected Junk email to the Trash folder which you can empty by viewing the Empty the Trash page.
If you have accidentally set an item as Junk mail and you would like to deselect, it you will need to open the Junk folder.
There are three methods that you can use to deselect it as Junk.
Method 1
Right click on the email.
Select Not Junk from the drop down menu.
Method 2
Click on the email.
Select Not Junk from the tool-bar.
Method 3
Click on the email and keep holding the button down.
Move the mouse pointer back to the Inbox (or to whatever folder you'd like to move the email to).
Release the mouse button.
All of these methods will move the junked mail back out of the Junk folder.
In the Webmail Lite Inbox you can select one or more emails by ticking the boxes that are to the left of every email.
Once you have selected the emails you would like to send to the Junk folder you will need to click on Junk which will be located above and below the list of your emails in your Inbox.
There are two ways you can empty your Trash folder to get rid of the email permanently. Both procedures need to be done from within the folder itself so you will need to click on the Trash icon in the folder list to the left of your Inbox.
Method 1
Select the emails individually by ticking the tick boxes.
Click the Delete icon.
Method 2
Click Empty Junk located above the list of emails.
This will send the selected Junk email to the Trash folder which you can empty by viewing the Empty the Trash page.
Webmail Mobile does not allow you to mark or deselect emails as junk. You can still delete and move emails that have previously been set to the Junk folder by clicking on Mail Folders/Tags and then Junk.
To move an email:
Select the email by placing a tick in the tick box to the left of it.
Click the arrow next the box that says More Actions.
Select Inbox.
To delete an email:
Select the email by placing a tick in the tick box to the left of it.
Click the Delete button.
Select Inbox.
This will send the selected Junk email to the Trash folder which you can empty by viewing the Empty the Trash page.
