By default, Outlook Express deletes messages from the Westnet mail server after it has transferred them to your computer. If you wish to access your email from another location at a later date, you need to get Outlook Express to leave the messages on the mail server.

To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click on the Tools menu located near the top of the screen
  3. Click on the Accounts menu item to open the Internet Accounts window
  4. Click on the Mail tab to view a list of all the email accounts configured in Outlook Express
  5. Left-click on the relevant email account from the list to select it
  6. Click on the Properties button to open the mail account properties window
  7. Click on the Advanced tab
  8. Under the heading Delivery there is an option called Leave a copy of messages on server. Place a tick in this box to enable Outlook Express to leave a copy of email on the mail server
  9. Click the OK button
  10. Click the Close button

Please note: If you leave a large number of messages on the Westnet mail server, you may exceed your mailbox quota.
