Important information for participants of the Webmail trial.

Welcome to Westnet's new Webmail platform and thank you for providing us with your cooperation in testing the new product before it is launched to the general public.  Before you get started there are a couple of things you should know before you can start using the new platform properly.

Mail Client Settings
If you are using an email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, Windows Mail (Vista) or Thunderbird you will need to change your incoming mail server. Instructions on how to do this are listed below.

Email Protection
If you have Email Protection or are currently subscribed to Westnet's Anti-SPAM product and you would like to login to adjust your settings you will need to follow the directions below. Both of these changes are only temporary but are necessary during the testing phase.

Email Protection

  • You will also need to adjust the way that you log into the antispam.westnet.com.au login page as you will no longer be able to use your mailbox password.  The login page features a link that says If you are a hosting customer with a DNS relay service click here to obtain your password.

  • You will need to click on that link and enter your email address so the system can email you an authorization code.

  • Once you have your authorisation code you should be able to login into to Email Protection using your email address and the authorisation code as the Password.
