What happens if I churn my Full Phone service or long-distance phone service away from Westnet?

Westnet will adjust your plan to the equivalent standalone monthly price as of the 1st day of the next calendar month.

Will I still be able to pay 3, 6 or 12 months in advance for the Dialup service?

Yes, but to receive the bundled price you will need to pay your Dialup internet on a monthly basis.

If I am currently on a Dialup bundled plan, can I upgrade to Broadband and continue to receive a bundled plan?

What does the Westnet Full Phone service include?

Westnet Full Phone is a normal, standard phone service that includes line rental, local calls, fixed-to-mobile calls, long distance (STD) and international (ISD) calls. Some discounts (e.g. pensioner discount) are negotiated by a particular provider and don't always apply if you choose to change provider. In some cases you will find our reduced call rates or call caps offset any discount previously received.

Will all the services I have on my current provider be available from Westnet Phone?

Not every service available for free from one provider (e.g. Voicemail with Telstra) will be a complimentary service with another provider.
Westnet's Full Phone service includes Call Waiting, Call Forward, Call Back, Call Return and 3-Way Chat. Additional features available for a small monthly fee include Voicemail, Calling Number Display, Multiple Number, Call Control, Smart Ring and Silent Number amongst many.

I have Long Distance Only (Preselection) with Westnet - am I eligible for a bundled plan?

No - You must use Westnet as your Full Phone service provider in order to be eligible for a bundled plan. Upgrade to Westnet Full Phone service using our easy online signup.

Simply select the Connection Type of Phone Only and Full Service Phone, then enter your Existing member details and proceed through the application process. Once you have completed the Full Service Phone application, your Line rental and local calls will be switched to Westnet within 1 working day.

I'm not the 'owner' of the phone line but want to take advantage of the bundle offer and save - what can I do?

You will need to get the owner of the phone line to authorise Westnet to add the phone component of your service to your account. In other words, you must have one set of billing records (one account) with Westnet to be eligible for a bundled plan.

Can I change Dialup plans if I bundle?

Yes - You can choose any Dialup plan that best suits you to accompany your phone service when you bundle with Westnet. However, if you change to plans such as Dialup Lite and Premium 5, the bundle offer is not available.

What if I already have separate Dialup and Full Phone services on the one Westnet account?

If you have both a Dialup and Full Phone service with Westnet on the one account, you will automatically move onto the new bundled plan as of 1st March 2007, provided your Dialup plan is eligible for bundling. Westnet will send you an information email to advise you of the discount to your monthly charge.

If you currently have a Dialup Lite or Premium 5 plan with Westnet, you will not qualify for the bundle offer however you are welcome to upgrade your account to an eligible Dialup or Broadband bundled plan.

What if I already have Dialup and Full Phone services with Westnet but they are on separate accounts?

If you have both Dialup and Full Phone services with Westnet but they are on separate accounts, you will not qualify automatically for the bundle offer. To qualify, you will need to transfer your Full Phone service onto your Dialup account and use the same billing details, and your Dialup plan must be eligible for bundling. You may transfer both services onto the one account by contacting Westnet Accounts on 1300 855 006.
Once your Dialup and Full Phone services exist on the one Westnet account, you will automatically move onto the new bundle plan as of the 1st of the upcoming calendar month provided your Dialup plan is eligible for bundling. If you currently have a Dialup Lite or Premium 5 plan with Westnet, you will not qualify for the bundle offer however you are welcome to upgrade your account to an eligible Dialup or Broadband bundle plan.

I have an ISDN telephone service with another provider (e.g. Telstra) - can I transfer this service to Westnet and take advantage of the bundle offer?

No - Currently Westnet does not provide ISDN telephone services and therefore you cannot transfer this service to Westnet.

Dialup bundling is only available to members on an eligible Dialup plan who also have a standard residential or business Full Phone service with Westnet.

If you would like to arrange connection of a new telephone line, or if you have a second telephone line with another provider (which is not an ISDN telephone service) you would like to transfer to Westnet Full Phone, simply call Westnet Sales on 13 19 60.

Once your Westnet Full Phone service is connected, you can take advantage of the bundle offer provided your Dialup plan is eligible for bundling.
