Welcome to Westnet
OPEN Networks modems purchased from Westnet all come with a "Welcome to Westnet" CD designed to handle common setup tasks such as getting online and setting up e-mail. However, you can still setup your modem without a CD - if you did not receive one, click here for further instructions.
Getting online is as simple as inserting the CD, and following the on-screen instructions (Fig. 1). Once the setup wizard is complete, you are online with Westnet Broadband!
Troubleshooting
If nothing happens when you insert the CD into your computer, you should be able to launch the wizard manually:
- Microsoft Windows: Double-click the My Computer icon. You will see an icon called iConnectDSL. Right-click it and left-click Autoplay to launch the wizard.
- Mac OS X: After the CD is inserted, an iConnectDSL icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click it, then double-click the Westnet icon.
